I graduated from the School of the Arts at Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Fashion Merchandising & Business Administration. I have spent the last 10 years in corporate recruiting within the retail industry. I was heavily involved in event planning with GUESS?, Inc. in Los Angeles, CA & Charter Communications (Spectrum) in Charlotte, NC, staging large-scale hiring events across the US.
My interest in event planning started when friends of mine were in desperate need of assistance & would come to me for ideas & advice. When I got the opportunity to plan my own wedding, as well as my bridal and baby showers, I realized the challenges that come with finding the perfect planner who is capable of meeting your expectations.
I am extremely detail-oriented, organized & a true perfectionist. I pride myself in building strong, lasting relationships with my clients & creating the event of their dreams!

Meet Leah
Hi! I’m Rachel, Experience Designer for Bubbly Event Co. My love of a good party, awesome theme and bringing people together started at a young age. I have been designated or self-appointed social committee of almost every organization I have been apart of since middle school.
Richmond has been my home since I was a toddler. After I graduated from Radford University, I spent 13 years within the world of commercial real estate. I worked in various roles, primarily in account management and sales, lastly as the Regional Director. During that time, I would throw myself at every opportunity to fill my party loving soul by planning anything from client functions, conference dinners, staff bonding activities and holiday parties. But two small kids and the pandemic really put things into perspective for our family, as a result I left my corporate job in the summer of 2022 to stay home.
Shortly after my youngest started Pre-K, I stumbled on Bubbly’s account and I got to meet Leah in April of 2023 and knew immediately I wanted to be part of her team. My first time working with her was one of our biggest balloon arch’s to date and I’ve been hooked ever since. Bubbly exudes quality, leads with fun and personality and never compromises overall design and aesthetic. Helping our clients create core memories is my passion. I’m so proud to be part of this team!
